Gilbane Building Company, the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA), legislators, local officials, and Newark School District leaders recently gathered for an event to mark the start of construction at the sites of the future Elliott Street School and Oliver Street Elementary School in Newark, New Jersey. These projects are part of the NJSDA’s commitment to providing students with a proper place to be educated. Gilbane Building Company is the construction manager for both projects.
“We’re excited to deliver these facilities for this community,” says John Fumosa, Gilbane vice president. “The new Elliott Street and Oliver Street Schools will serve the needs of both students and educators in Newark for generations to come by providing modern classrooms, labs, media centers and other learning environments, and we’re proud to be a part of that.”
