Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 23, 2014
“The Walk,” an Aaron Wolf film based on a true story by Rabbi David Wolpe (named America’s number-one rabbi by Newsweek Magazine) and starring Emmy and Oscar nominated actor, Peter Riegert (“Animal House,” “Crossing Delancey,” “Dads”) will premiere at the 2014 USA Film Festival.
“The Walk,” the latest film from Howling Wolf Productions, centers around a young Jewish boy, Danny, in late 1980s Brooklyn. Despondent over the death of his father, Danny encounters an older Jewish man, Alfred, and they start taking daily walks, during which Alfred shares insights that help the boy heal. But there is a secret that Alfred doesn’t share, which ultimately has a profound impact on Danny more than 20 years later.
“The Walk,” also starring Aaron Wolf and Sawyer Barth, will screen at the festival on Sunday, April 27 at 4:30 PM. Following, writer/director Aaron Wolf, who’s walks with his grandfather, Rabbi Alfred Wolf, the film is also based, will be participating in a Q&A. Pending scheduling issues, Riegert may also be in attendance.
The USA Film Festival, in it's 44th year, is one of the nation's most prominent film festivals and a celebrated event in Dallas each year. Tickets for The Walk are available at: http://dallas.culturemap.com/eventdetail/2014-usa-film-festival-walk-tribute-peter-riegert/.
