SkyMall, the company behind the famous in-flight catalog and on line collection of unique products is sponsoring an I Love SkyMall Video Contest now through June 30, 2014. The rules to enter are designed so that other than a few legal exceptions, any U.S. citizen, eighteen years or older who can shoot a selfie video describing why he or she loves SkyMall and post it to YouTube or Instagram can try their luck.

Videos should be 15-120 seconds long and may include other participants (with their written permission.) Entrants will be judged based on humor and creativity. Final winners will be determined by both public votes and scores from a Judge’s panel.

SkyMall has set the prize strategy so that ten lucky contestants will walk away winners. The Grand Prize, is a fabulous Sony® Entertainment Package which includes: a Sony® 65” XBR 4K Ultra HD TV with wi-fi and Triluminous Display™; a Sony® 32GB full HD camcorder with built-in projector, wi-fi, and NFC; a Sony® 24MP mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with 16 – 50 mm zoom lenses with a 64GB memory card. Winners will receive an additional check for $1,181 to help offset taxes on this prize, valued at $7,700.

The First Place winner will receive a $1,000 gift card as well as $300 check to offset tax consequences. The second place winner will receive a $500 SkyMall gift card and five lucky third place winners will receive a $100 SkyMall Gift card.
