Spectrum Paint Extends Reach in Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) April 21, 2014 -- Spectrum Paint Company has purchased the assets of all PROfessional Paint and Coatings (PPC) stores located in the greater Kansas City area, Lawrence, Kansas, as well as Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. PPC operated 10 outlets which distributed Benjamin Moore and Devoe Paint. Spectrum will continue to sell Benjamin Moore and Devoe in addition to SPEC-PRO, SPEC-ONE and ALLPRO products. The stores opened as Spectrum Paint locations on Monday, April 21st, 2014.
"The most important thing we are getting in this acquisition is the wealth of experience and knowledge that the employees bring to our team," said Travis Detter, Spectrum Paint president. " I was very impressed when I visited the stores. I can't imagine a more prepared staff to help us build a strong presence in the midwest."
Spectrum Paint Company was established in 1986 and has grown into the largest independent paint dealer in the United States. The addition will bring the company's total store number to 47, with stores in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and North and South Carolina.
