NFI Recognized by Lowe’s as Outbound Carrier of the Year and Double Platinum Carrier for 2013
Cherry Hill, N.J. (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 -- NFI, a leading supply chain solutions provider headquartered in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, received recognition at the 2014 Lowe’s Annual Global Transportation Conference in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Lowe’s Companies, Inc. awarded NFI as the Outbound Carrier of the Year and a Double Platinum Carrier for 2013.
Each year Lowe’s acknowledges supply chain excellence among its distribution and transportation providers. In recognition of “outstanding dedication, commitment, and support,” NFI obtained the title of Outboard Carrier of the Year for all of Lowe’s operations. On-time performance, ease of doing business, and a commitment to innovation, including the launch of a natural gas-powered fleet with Lowe’s at its regional distribution center in Mount Vernon, Texas, all factored into the recognition.
For the third consecutive year, Lowe’s has also recognized NFI as a Double Platinum Carrier. The Double Platinum Carrier award is given to providers who consistently deliver the highest quality of service.
“NFI realizes the importance of clean technologies like natural gas,” said Ike Brown, NFI Vice-Chairman and President. “We value our partnership with Lowe’s and look forward to continuing our efforts to provide innovative and sustainable solutions while delivering best-in-class service.”
NFI and Lowe’s hold a strong business relationship that dates back to the early 1980s. As a multi-service partner, NFI is able to provide Lowe’s with solutions that meet their dedicated transportation, intermodal, and warehousing needs in numerous regions.
