In its seventy third year of operation, the Automotive Communications Council (ACC) is the oldest continuously operating council in the automotive aftermarket. Following an award for B to B advertising from the ACC in October, WEXCO Industries decided to send two of its Aftermarket Team members, Anthony Leardi and Aimee Rothstadt, to the annual spring meeting in Denver, CO for continuing education. The ACC defines themselves as “a national, non-profit organization comprised of marketing professionals engaged in public relations, advertising, branding and other communication practices for automotive aftermarket companies.”
The meeting, held April 7-9, was an opportunity for those in the automotive aftermarket to hone career skills through networking, idea-sharing and learning from industry experts. “As our company continues to expand our aftermarket lines in the marketplace, we understand the growing importance of staying ahead of the curve. Learning and executing new techniques in both digital and traditional marketing is what sets us far apart from our competition. Continuous learning is important to our team and the AutoTex brand,” says Aimee Rothstadt of WEXCO Industries.
