Electronic Arts Executive to Speak at July 22 Session of the National Youth Leadership Forum: Careers in Engineering & Technology
Washington, DC (PRWEB) April 24, 2014 -- Committed to helping outstanding young people prepare for and make the most of their future school, college and career experiences, Envision today announced that it is accepting applications for the 2014 Envision Future Engineer Scholarship for the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Careers in Engineering & Technology.
The scholarship will be awarded to a current high school student who wishes to attend this summer’s NYLF Engineering & Technology program at the University of California, Berkeley, July 19 – July 26.
Gopi Parampalli, Senior Director of Enterprise Application Services for Electronic Arts, is scheduled to speak to scholars about the future of the engineering and technology professions.
Envision will select the recipient of the Envision Future Engineer Scholarship based on financial need, scholastic merit, leadership achievement and other factors. The scholarship application for NYLF Engineering & Technology must be completed by Friday, May 16, 2014.
The scholarship will cover full tuition for the program, including a comprehensive schedule of experiences and skill-building activities to explore the fields of engineering and technology.
Scholars in the program receive firsthand exposure to engineering and technology professionals and learn about careers that are in high demand in the United States and throughout the world. Interactive simulations, hands-on workshops and educational site visits provide opportunities for discovery. Students also gain valuable college exposure while visiting some of the nation’s best universities for innovation.
