Christian Schools International, an established and biblically based educational services organization serving more than 400 member schools, desired their schools to have innovative, rigorous, and mission-aligned online courses to serve students even better. They believe successful schools of the future will look different than those of today. Their schools will now be able to choose from over 220 online courses offered by Sevenstar. Sevenstar, the world leader in online course solutions to Christian schools with more than 300 partner school members, to offer Christian online courses for students in grades 6-12.
These new partners are excited to benefit from each other’s areas of expertise. Christian Schools International has provided Christian schools with training, services, and curriculum products with a biblical worldview at growing increments since it was established in 1920. The movement in education to online learning opportunities led Christian Schools International to begin online courses in 2004 and formally launch CSIonline Academy in 2012.
Because schools and families continue to have a diverse range of online learning needs, the organization reached out to Sevenstar as an experienced partner that mirrors the Christian perspective within a broad array of online courses. Sevenstar has served over 27,000 students worldwide in its seven-year history. Thirteen of Christian Schools International’s member schools are already Sevenstar partners. These Christian Schools International member schools and others will benefit greatly from Sevenstar’s dedication to biblical worldview in expanded opportunities for blended learning, online courses, credit recovery, dual enrollment, and continued training for school leaders in the areas of technology and online learning.
Students from Christian Schools International’s member schools will begin participating in Sevenstar courses as early as May 2014 as a result of this partnership. Christian worldview specialists from both organizations will work together to integrate additional biblical perspectives into course content to continue to advance the robust curriculum already provided by Sevenstar.
