Verndale’s Work with Zildjian Selected as a 2014 MITX What’s Next Awards Finalist
Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- Verndale is pleased to announce that Zildjian has been selected as a finalist in the Consumer Goods category for the MITX What’s Next Awards. These awards honor the top marketers and innovators, showcasing the most exciting tech, creative and digital marketing inventions in the region.
Zildjian, the premier maker of cymbals in the world was looking to get personal with its audience. To reinforce its brand position as the market leader, Zildjian created a unique and personalized web based cymbal playing experience that fully engaged the audience. Released in late 2013, Sound Lab is an interactive cymbal playing experience that allows a visitor to build, play, share and save custom cymbal kits. The experience was built atop the Sitecore Customer Experience Management System (CXM), powering Zildjian’ s fully integrated digital marketing activities including email campaign management, personalization and A/B & multivariate testing.
“It’s such an honor to see our work with Zildjian make it to the finalist’s round,” said Sean Rusinko, SVP Strategy at Verndale. “Sound Lab represents what Zildjian’s audience expects from this great brand – an interactive, personalized experience that demonstrates firsthand the superior quality of Zildjian cymbals.”
Since 1996 the MITX Award shows have grown to become the largest and most prestigious awards competitions in the country for marketing innovations, celebrating the best creative and technological accomplishments emerging from New England. This year MITX combined its annual Innovation and Interactive Awards into a single show recognizing Boston’s entire digital ecosystem.
“The finalists that emerged from an unprecedented number of submissions received for this year’s MITX What’s Next Awards demonstrate the creativity and innovation of our region’s rich digital ecosystem,” says MITX Board Member and Communispace Chief Operating Officer Howard Kogan, who serves as Chairman of the MITX What’s Next Awards Advisory Committee. “From startups to large corporations and everything in between, the individuals behind this work continue to raise the bar for the entire digital community.”
Verndale will be recognized with the other finalists in the Consumer Goods category at a gala awards ceremony traditionally attended by over 1,000 of the region’s top interactive marketing and technology professionals. Winners for each category will be announced during the ceremony at the Westin Waterfront Hotel on May 29th. Tickets can be purchased here.
