Thank you to all the customers that helped MWE and Briggs & Stratton achieve the donation goal of $10,000. It’s an honor to be involved with Hope For The Warriors® and support those that have served and sacrificed for our country.
Aurora, IL (PRWEB) April 28, 2014
Midwest Engine (MWE), a division of Illinois Auto Electric and subsidiary of Briggs and Stratton, raised $10,575 for Hope For The Warriors® through the Pre-Season Program campaign that began in October 2013. MWE announced the partnership with Hope For The Warriors® as an effort to raise funds and awareness for wounded service members and their families. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
From October 2013 through February 2014, a donation was made to Hope For The Warriors® for every $100 of Briggs & Stratton® products purchased through MWE’s Pre-Season Program. The donation goal was $10,000, which was exceeded by the end of the promotion. Mike McCaleb, Executive Director, and Brian Sirotek, Vice President of MWE, are very thankful for the help and support that Hope For The Warriors® has given.
