Tribune Content Agency, LLC and app developer Adveractive announce the launch of Just Jumble, a free iOS and Android app that introduces millions of fans of the iconic daily Jumble brainteaser to a new game twist through their mobile devices. Just Jumble launches today in the Apple App Store for Apple mobile devices and in early May 2014 in stores for Android, Kindle, and Nook devices.
Just Jumble is a fast playing, challenging new variant of the daily Jumble currently syndicated to over 600 newspapers, magazines, and websites. Martin Dell created the original Jumble game 60 years ago and it is still played every day by millions of fans around the world. Daily Jumble players must unscramble a series’ of letters to make words and then use them and the game’s cartoon’s hints to solve for the “punny” cartoon caption. New players and long-time Jumble fans will love tackling Just Jumble’s brain-twisting new gameplay. At launch, the free Just Jumble app will contain more than 230 puzzles as well as bonus games for extra points.

Players will also enjoy the team’s fun and puzzle-loving personalities scattered throughout the app – they frequently pop up inside some of the humorous, clever cartoon panels drawn by Knurek.
