Commercial Real Estate Firm Names New Senior VP, Industrial Brokerage; Senior VP, Office Services and VP, Office Services

Three team members of the Cleveland real estate firm Ostendorf-Morris (http://www.ostendorf-morris.com) have just been promoted to executive positions. The company recently named a new Senior Vice President, Industrial Brokerage; a new Senior Vice President, Office Services and a new Vice President, Office Services. All three slots were filled internally, attesting to Ostendorf-Morris’ expansive real estate talent.

Earning the promotion to Senior Vice President of the Industrial Brokerage Department is Michael J. Occhionero. Occhionero joined Ostendorf-Morris in 2000, where he began his tenure as the Industrial Database Coordinator in the Research Department. He quickly rose the ranks to Sales Associate, Assistant Vice President and now Senior Vice President. In his new role, he will be responsible for assisting clients with property acquisitions, disposition, leasing, land sales, sale-leasebacks, property marketing and research, lease termination projects, purchase analysis and build-to-suits.

“Mr. Occhionero has been a constant producer in both Industrial and Corporate Services for Ostendorf-Morris,” explains the company’s spokesperson. “On top of that, he has taken the lead on several office deals. His successful past with our firm speaks for itself, and we all wish him an even brighter and prosperous future in his new capacity.”

Also being promoted to a Senior Vice President title is Gregory B. West. As lead VP of the Ostendorf-Morris Office Services Department, West will put his superior listening skills to work in offering out-of-the-box solutions. His honest, work ethic and persistence in seeing every deal through to close have contributed to him completing more than 400 transactions totaling $200+ million in lease/sale values.

“Greg West has real estate in his DNA and it shows,” stresses Ostendorf-Morris’ spokesperson. “He approaches each deal he undertakes with determination and zeal. The hard worker in him combined with his deal-maker’s mentality has allowed Greg to carve a name of his own. In the almost 13 years he has been with us, Mr. West continually impresses us with his vast knowledge of properties and process.”

Rounding out the promotions is David R. Horowitz, who has taken over the Vice President, Office Services position. Since joining Ostendorf-Morris in 2008 as an associate in the corporate management training program, Horowitz has stood out to his superiors for his diligence, tenacity and understanding of the sale leasing process.

“Mr. Horowitz has enjoyed a steady climb in production year after year,” points out Ostendorf-Morris’ spokesperson. “He is a fantastic communicator and a consummate professional. Early on he demonstrated his intelligence with a firm grasp of the technical and nomenclature of the business. There is no doubt David is a star in the making.”
