KiwiTech, a leading provider of end-to-end mobile solutions, announced today that it has partnered with Klooff, a unique platform for creating and sharing pet content online and via mobile apps, to develop the company’s mobile applications for both the iOS and Android platforms, as well as the full-featured website.
“With Klooff, we’ve had an opportunity to partner with an exciting startup that brings exceptional vision and lots of creativity,” said Rakesh Gupta, CEO of KiwiTech. “Their vision, combined with KiwiTech’s experience in developing for the mobile space, has proven to be a terrific combination, and we’re delighted by the attention and success the platform has achieved in such a short time.”
On Klooff, users post photos and videos of their prized pets, in something like a cross between Facebook and Instagram. Much like those social networks, pet parents view and follow other pets, as part of an online community dedicated to celebrating cuddly cuties everywhere. App features include viewing and following pets, a Daily Top 10, a voting system and the ability to make comments and send messages to fellow animal lovers.
The concept has taken off quickly. “There’s no doubt that people love seeing cute pictures of pets, and we provide a unique way of sharing this content,” said Alejandro Russo, co-founder and CEO of Klooff. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the KiwiTech partnership. In addition to their strong mobile-first focus, it was clear from day one that they understood the simple elegance of what we were trying to accomplish, and really helped us deliver.”

Klooff is an innovative platform that allows people to capture and share their pet’s best moments through photos and video. Whether it’s a singing pug or a cat playing piano, people can submit, caption, and share through the eyes of their pet. Klooff’s goal is to deliver happiness through pets and provide the best pet content available online and via social media. The concept was incubated at the premier TechStars startup accelerator in New York City (Spring 2013), and Klooff was named one of Time Inc.’s 10 NYC startups to watch in 2013. The Klooff apps – available for both iOS and Android – have become hugely popular, reaching #8 in the Lifestyle category within 48 hours of its release. The Klooff Facebook page has attracted nearly 1.2 million likes. Kloof co-founder and CEO Alejandro Russo drive the company's vision, strategy, and growth. Before starting Klooff, he co-founded SoyGourmet, Chile's first mobile restaurant guide, which went on to become the country's most downloaded iPhone app.
