New Book of Professionally Produced Plays, "Opening Doors" Highlights Minorities’ Continued Struggle for Equality
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) April 24, 2014 -- Louis Rivers is a professor emeritus at New York City College of Technology who writes and produces plays about the African American experience. These plays have been collected and developed into a full-length book presenting societal challenges endured by minority groups.
“Opening Doors” is a compilation of four plays that have been published and professionally produced on stage. The plays are a work of social realism and seek to draw attention to the mistreatment of minority groups in America.
“The struggle for equality among minorities continues to perpetuate the misery of human existence,” Rivers said. “Money and power will continue to destroy all human endeavors unless it’s more effectively distributed.
Rivers believes “Opening Doors” appeals to all who take interest in theater or African American history.
