Online content supplier Copify have announced the launch of a new managed blogging service, enabling clients to automatically receive a number of posts every month, written to their specification.
It is hoped the packages, which start at $69/£49 per month for four posts, will be popular among SMEs who struggle to find the time and resource to regularly update their blog. Director Martin Harrison explains:
“We have known for a long time that one of the biggest pain points for many of our clients is finding the time and resource to blog regularly. These packages have been specially designed to take care of this for them.”
Founded in 2010 by Harrison, a copywriter, and web developer, Rob McVey, Copify has built a network of over 1000 remotely based copywriters from across the UK, USA, and Australia. With several internal content editors, they have the capacity to deliver millions of words every month. Over 2000 customers have used the platform to date, including household names such as AutoTrader, AsiaRooms, and AO.com.
As more and more businesses are investing in content marketing, Copify have seen a growing demand for blog posts and the new packages will make the process much easier for those looking to automate the process.
Blogging has been big news in the SEO community recently, with Google's Matt Cutts denouncing the process of 'guest blogging' – the offering of posts to third party websites in exchange for links. Google has threatened those who engage in this process with penalties, which will result in their site being demoted, or even removed entirely from its search results.
Harrison is at pains to make the distinction between guest blogging and his service and insists that what they are supplying is completely in line with Google's guidelines:
“One of the key messages from Google with regards to SEO over the years has been the importance of frequently producing quality, unique content on your blog which is what we are in the business of supplying. Placing this content on your company blog, and then promoting it through Social Media and other channels is an essential component of any legitimate content marketing/SEO campaign.”
The posts supplied by Copify can quickly and easily be uploaded to most blog platforms. Users of WordPress, the most common blog platform in the world, are able to install a plugin which will push content ordered directly to their dashboard.
The British-based firm are also planning to roll out a series of added value features to the blogging package, including instant publishing, images and eventually a reseller program targeted at agencies.
