Guidant Financial's Courtney Fuller Named Finalist in Puget Sound Business Journal Corporate Counsel Award
Bellevue, Wash. (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Courtney Fuller, corporate counsel for Guidant Financial, has been named a finalist in the Puget Sound Business Journal's 2014 Corporate Counsel Awards in the Private Company category. The Puget Sound Business Journal's Corporate Counsel Awards honor legal heroes in the community who exemplify traits that all in-house counsel strive for — measured and trusted judgment, legal and business acumen, vision and leadership.
In its fourth year, the award program was created to recognize Washington-based attorneys who actively practice inside a local corporation of other private-sector organization. Honorees demonstrate above-and-beyond prowess in handling legal challenges and bringing value to company's bottom line, and are recognized for their leadership in the legal department, company and community.
Fuller has represented Guidant Financial for more than eight years, managing corporate governance including business formations, annual filings and board meetings, and serving as Corporate Secretary to the organization's Board of Directors.
"Courtney's contributions to our business and those of our clients have been invaluable," said David Nilssen, CEO of Guidant Financial. "The whole team at Guidant Financial is thrilled that Courtney has been recognized for her hard work, leadership and legal acumen among her peers."
Courtney was honored at an April 24 award ceremony at the W Hotel in Seattle along with the winners and finalists from other categories. All of the honorees were profiled in the April 25 issue of the Puget Sound Business Journal.
