New York, NY (PRWEB) April 24, 2014 -- BucketFeet, the artist-designed footwear startup out of Chicago with the mission of connecting people through art, announced today it will open a pop-up shop and art gallery May 1 through July 31 in the former home of adidas SLVR at 108 Wooster Street in SOHO, NYC.
The shop will feature men’s, women’s and children’s summer 2014 styles and limited edition canvas prints from more than 50 artists from over 20 countries. Additionally, the BucketFeet pop-up shop will serve as a gallery and event space showcasing original artwork from a curated collection of BucketFeet artists, interactive art workshops, DIY projects, live-art installations, and more. Furthermore, the space will serve as an exciting showroom for future artist-designed collections and unreleased exclusives.
“We exist to connect people through art and there might be no better place in the world than New York City to connect our amazing artists with other creative tastemakers and customers who want something unique,” said BucketFeet’s President and COO Bobby Stephens. “We feel like this is an important next step to continue our growth as a brand and as a platform for artists.”
Reflective of the BucketFeet brand, the space will be welcoming, clean and modern, focused on art and creativity from all over the world with the following BucketFeet artists scheduled to attend: Marka27, Jayson Atienza, Greg Kletzel, Jimmy Sheehan, Jose Mertz, JC Rivera, Sentrock, Erin Burke, Tekst and more.
Members of the BucketFeet executive team will be on-hand during the summer to meet with customers, fans, art lovers and press.
About BucketFeet:
BucketFeet launched in 2011 after a chance meeting in Argentina between two strangers who were backpacking around the world. A beer, an interesting pair of hand-drawn shoes and a conversation later, a partnership was born.
Today, BucketFeet exists to celebrate self-expression and connect people through art. A different artist designs every item we produce, giving each customer an original story and style. Painters, graffiti artists, writers, illustrators, tattooists and many more original creators are part of the BucketFeet Artist Network.
BucketFeet has already collaborated with over 100 artists in more than 20 countries.
Every pair of our signature footwear is manufactured with premium canvas and massage bubble insoles for ultimate quality and comfort. BucketFeet shoes are made to stand out, inspire conversations and create new connections. We believe art is for everyone, and that includes you. To find out more, visit http://www.bucketfeet.com.
