Adra Match Launches a New Support Portal Centered Around a HelpTV Section Filled with Video Content

With a conviction that video tutorials outperform written documentation, Adra Match launches a unique customer Support Portal with video as the primary content to guide customers to success.

Adra Match, a global software firm specializing in solutions for a smarter month-end close process launches a unique customer Support Portal centered around video content.

“TV and video has outperformed written media in all times,” says Martin Thunman, CEO of Adra Match. He continues: “I see this even with my own kids, whenever they want to learn anything they go to YouTube and search for tutorials. They are learning anything; from dance-moves, piano-skills and golf-shots to how to learn software like games and spreadsheet programs. It´s instinct for them to watch a video tutorial instead of trying to read and learn. It´s the way we are wired as human beings.”

The first thing users see when they log into the new Support Portal is a HelpTV section. There they can view video tutorials for all our main products in three different content types; Getting Started training videos for new users; How-to videos which answers all our most frequent support questions and recorded Webinars around different topics like “What´s New in the latest release” or “Tips and Tricks”.

“To launch a best-in-class support portal like this is a major investment and long term commitment,” says Torgeir Lyngstad, CTO at Adra Match. "We have had a cross-functional project team working on this for over a year and have built up two separate video recording studios. It is an ongoing commitment, we can´t outsource the video production but need to master this internally to quickly being able to add, edit and update videos."

Apart from the HelpTV section, the Support Portal has the expected features like a 24/7/365 availability, knowledge articles, how-to guides, product documentation, downloads and ability to create and follow support cases.

“Video is strategic to Adra Match,” says Martin Thunman, CEO. “We started to use video in marketing to help customers in their buying cycle. Now we are making video the primary content in the Support Portal for user training and customer success. The next step is to integrate video into our products to furthermore enhance the user experience.”
