Faveeo offers a set of integrated tools focused on helping large organizations and companies make sense of the sea of unstructured information available on the web and social media thanks to its innovative discovery and filtering technology. (Watch 1min Demo Video here.)
After a full day of workshops with the 25+ SBA members present for the event, the judges of the SBA awarded Faveeo with the top price "Most Investible Company" recognizing the quality of its innovative solutions, value proposition strategy and strong case as an investment opportunity.
“The algorithms and technology behind Faveeo are ground-breaking in that it does not just aggregate content, it integrates content from sources around the web and then makes intelligent use of it. Its applications range from Content Editors, to Domainers, to Financial analysts, etc.,” said Candace Johnson, President of Success Europe, one of the SBA's Investment Holding Companies.
At the crossroads between media monitoring and big data analytics, the company's mission is to simplify and streamline a company’s ability to detect and filter valuable information; they can then turn into actionable knowledge thanks to its active learning filters that put the user in the center of the filtering process by enabling each user to influence its algorithms according to their context and their specific needs.
"The participation of Alexis Dufresne at the SBA International Venture Academy was an example for other entrepreneurs with a unique ability to listen and learn from coaches. Not only, Faveeo won the most investible company prize, but the company was immediately selected to pitch at the next SBA Deal Flow in May. I personally congratulate again Alexis Dufresne for this achievement," said Jean-Louis BRELET, President of Sophia Business Angels.
Founded in 2012 by a team of social scientists and software engineers on a mission to build a better online discovery and filtering platform, Faveeo is an early-stage company providing high quality information monitoring, filtering and analytics tools to global companies and organizations.
