Akorbi CEO, Claudia Mirza, Receives LATINA Style Entrepreneur of the Year Award
PLANO, Texas (PRWEB) April 25, 2014 -- Claudia Mirza was selected as the LATINA Style Entrepreneur of the Year for the Dallas/Fort Worth area for her success, business achievements and contributions to the community. Mirza competed with dozens of other very successful Latina entrepreneurs for this highly coveted award.
Hundreds of business professionals gathered at the Hyatt Regency Dallas Hotel on April 17th for LATINA Style’s all-day business program. In addition to the award, Mirza was one of only three women selected to participate on the business event’s Latina Entrepreneur’s Spotlight: Lesson’s Learned panel, which featured successful Latina entrepreneurs with businesses at different stages of maturity. They discussed lessons learned, insights gained, as well as challenges encountered and advice for overcoming them.
