Carmon M. Harvey has joined LeClairRyan as a shareholder on the firm’s Labor and Employment and Commercial Litigation Practice Area teams. She will be resident in the national law firm’s Philadelphia, Pa. and Newark, N.J. offices.
Harvey focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling, including wage and hour issues, hiring, firing, employee discipline, federal and state discrimination laws, sexual and other prohibited harassment, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), trade secrets and non-compete agreements, and grievance arbitration.
She also regularly counsels institutions of higher education regarding faculty, student, administrative, and compliance matters, including faculty promotion and tenure proceedings, Title IX compliance, and university and faculty policies and procedures.
Harvey is graduate of Temple University School of Law (J.D.) and Creighton University (B.A.). She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
