CPAmerica International Presents a New Quarterly Accounting and Auditing Update Webinar Series for Members
Gainesville, FL (PRWEB) April 25, 2014 -- CPAmerica International is offering a quarterly accounting and auditing update webinar series for members of the association in 2014. The series will provide a general overview of current accounting standards and pending projects and a discussion of a selected technical topic on a quarterly basis to enhance professional knowledge and understanding.
“We have had great success with past webinar series that we have offered,” said Alan Deichler, president of CPAmerica. “Considering the nature of accounting and auditing, we decided to adapt the webinars in a way that made more sense and focused on big topics recommended by our A&A Executive Committee chairs.”
Topics will be covering areas such as: auditor’s responsibility for consideration of regulatory compliance and laws and regulations; overview of derivative and hedge accounting; overview of fair value accounting and disclosures; and overview of current revenue recognition guidance.
The sessions will be led by Gregory M. Clark, CPA, CGMA, group practice leader for Loscalzo Associates Ltd. and principal with the Business Compliance & Controls Group (BCCG). Clark will be teaching CPAmerica’s first quarterly webinar series and brings more than 30 years of experience in the audit and business compliance field.
