Hops & Props Offers Variety of Brews, Food and Entertainment
Midland, TX (PRWEB) April 24, 2014 -- Sample more than 40 different beers and ciders at Hops & Props 2014 on Saturday, May 3, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Commemorative Center on the CAF Airpower Museum campus, 9600 Wright Drive in Midland. The event is presented by the generous support of Warren Equipment Company.
Now in its sixth year, Hops & Props provides guests an opportunity to taste craft beer and ciders with the support of Glazer’s Permian Distributing and the Ben E. Keith Company. New to this year’s event will be participation from the Big Bend Brewing Company. Each company will have representatives on hand to explain the different beers and answer questions.
In addition to the beer tasting, Hops & Props features live music from The Cory Yeager Band and appetizers provided by area restaurants, including Domino’s Pizza, Dickey’s Barbeque Pit, Cabot’s Cheese Texas Roadhouse and La Bodega Restaurant. A silent auction – featuring a wide variety of items from trips and gift baskets to firearms and airplane memorabilia -- will also be a part of the event. All proceeds will be used locally to support the CAF Airpower Museum.
General admission tickets, which include the beer tasting, food and a commemorative glass, are on sale now at the CAF Airpower Museum, online at http://www.airpowermuseum.org or by calling (432) 563-1000. Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door. A special Designated Driver ticket, which includes event admission, food and soft drinks, is on sale for $20. No one under age 21 will be admitted. A “Tipsy Taxi” service will also be available during the event.
Reserved Tables are also available for $500 and include admission for eight. Those interested in purchasing a table should call the Museum for details.
