The satyrical series was created by Celeste Thorson, director of Hit Girls and Yogaphiles and comedic actress best known for her work on How I Met Your Mother, The Exes and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
"I wanted to create a sitcom about yoga that featured a diverse cast of under represented performers tackling stereotypes." said screenwriter and director Celeste Thorson.
In episode 3 of Yogaphiles, Mo finally meets a girl from goddess yoga. Priyanka gets in hot water with Zoe and Nick and Tara talk tantra.
Guest starring Jamie Tisdale (From Dusk Till Dawn, CSI: NY, House M.D.) as Eve, the flight attendant and goddess yogi. Jamie Tisdale is a real life yoga instructor and showcased some of her skills in the episode.
Starring Hayden Shinger (Grey's Anatomy, Outsourced) as Priyanka, John R. Colley (NCIS, Castle) as Felix, Zach Book (Criminal Minds, America's Most Wanted) as Nick, Katherine Adams (Heroine Legends, Colorblind) as Tara and Mario Locke (Dirt, The Adventures of Roman and Jorge) as Mo.
Co-starring real life yoga instructor Malaika Butoyi (The Doctors) as yoga assistant Kalea and Ripley Rader (LA'd, Reality Boom) as yoga instructor Zoe.
