Controversial Stereotypes Explored in Comedy Series Yogaphiles S1E4
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- Yogaphiles is an independent new media sitcom about a class of yogis that take life, love and yoga too seriously. The comedy series was created by Celeste Thorson, screenwriter (Destination Luxury, Yogaphiles), director (Hit Girls, Yogaphiles) and actress (How I Met Your Mother, The Exes and Jimmy Kimmel Live!).
"I wanted to create a comedic environment to feature a diverse cast of comedians, while highlighting racial, gender and LGBT stereotypes," said screenwriter and director Celeste Thorson.
Episode 4 of Yogaphiles explores gay and lesbian themes when Shaye, a new yoga teacher, comes into town and turns Mo's world upside down. Felix and Priyanka bond while Nick and Tara share their upcoming plans.
