Mason Company’s new “Dog Housing Solutions: Pros and Cons and Trends” presentation has been approved by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education System (CES) for continuing education credit. This is the first of several courses Mason Company is offering at no cost as an AIA/CES Approved Provider.
The one-hour webinar will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014, beginning at noon EST/9AM PST. AIA members can register at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2237173368167777025 to attend the free 60-minute webinar and receive one (1) Learning Unit (LU) from the AIA. The AIA Course Code is MASONKENNEL and the AIA Course Title is “Dog Housing Solutions: Pros and Cons and Trends.” The course description and learning objectives are provided below. This course is intended for design and construction professionals interested in the pros and cons of the many options available in animal enclosures for dogs. Course learning objectives include:
Continuing education is mandated by most states to maintain a professional license to practice architecture, and by AIA for membership renewal. AIA members need 18 Learning Units per year.
Mason Company’s webinars will also be recorded and made available on demand in the future. In order to receive credit, users must watch the Webinar live or watch the recorded webinar and then pass a 10-question online exam. Attendees must also complete an online course evaluation. Links to the exam and course evaluation are provided at the end of the webinar. Attendees must send Mason Company an email request containing their AIA member number in order to receive credit.
