AdGear, a leading advertising technology company, has released a real-time dashboard for its demand-side platform that gives clients a new level of campaign performance analytics. Clients can now track and troubleshoot both aggregate and individual campaigns in AdGear Trader DSP, by using the real-time dashboard's live reporting, advanced analytics, and intuitive visualization capabilities.
“Our demand-side platform, AdGear Trader, already includes a robust set of reporting and analytics capabilities, but we at AdGear believe in continuous improvement. We came up with the idea of delivering real-time data directly to the user interface to provide clients with richer visualization and improved analytics. It is critical for our customers to have access to a combination of static and dynamic reporting, as well as an active campaign gauge that incorporates both daily analysis and troubleshooting. So the real-time dashboard was a logical addition to the product,” said Vlad Stesin, AdGear Co-Founder and VP of Product.
The new real-time dashboard module allows AdGear clients to track campaign progress against multiple variables in real time. The module delivers a combination of live visuals, including impressions, media CPM, and AdGear SiteRank. It also includes drill-down tables of related data, such as campaigns, tags, media sellers, sites, countries, and browsers. Drill-down tables allow users to pivot real-time reports based on a specific set of requirements. The dashboard also visually represents impressions, cost, and SiteRank quality in graphical format, providing powerful insights at a glance.
“Real-time reporting means less time wasted when it comes to performance optimization and troubleshooting. Most importantly, we know that real-time access to performance data will result in less wasted ad spend and improved results,” said Ivan Roubtsov, Director of Product Marketing at AdGear.
The real-time dashboard allows users to take a proactive approach to real-time display campaigns, and includes many potential applications:
Performance Trend Monitoring: Monitoring whether a specific flight variable starts generating positive results ahead of the pack, allowing newly captured insights to be integrated into campaign settings in real time. This can be as simple as identifying a batch of sites that are outperforming the rest, even in the early stages of a campaign's life cycle. Another example is running a head-to-head test of a few dozen banners with the ability to capture a short list of the top performers.
Inventory Outlier Monitoring & Removal: While executing a campaign based on contextual, semantic or category based targeting, users can monitor an incoming array of sites and remove the most active performers that don't fit the targeting criteria. Another situation where the real-time dashboard can contribute to bottom-line performance is when certain sites are delivering exceptionally "good” performance, at which point users will be prompted to investigate this abnormal performance.
AdGear SiteRank Variable Tracking: Determining the volume of traffic being driven by higher quality compared to lower quality websites is critical, especially when vetting a new site list. Now clients can use the real-time dashboard to instantly visualize inventory quality in terms of AdGear's proprietary SiteRank index. For even more granular detail, users can drill down into the summary table. Using SiteRank variable tracking, clients gain important at-a-glance insights into their website inventory's quality and performance.
AdGear Trader's real-time dashboard gives users a seamless tool for individual and aggregate campaign performance tracking, real-time drill-down analysis, performance trend monitoring, inventory outlier removal, and SiteRank-specific performance tracking.
