Westport, CT Fitness Trainer Achieves “Fully Certified Instructor” Designation From Gym Jones, One Of 15 Worldwide
Westport, CT (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Tommy Baker, a Connecticut fitness trainer and gym owner has been awarded the title of “fully certified instructor” from Gym Jones, a Salt Lake City based physical training center well known for its role in training actors for several blockbuster films, including the recent Man Of Steel and 300: Rise Of An Empire films as well as world-class athletes from all backgrounds.
Gym Jones offers one of the most intense training certifications in the world. It's taken Baker four years to complete the four-part program. Achieving the certification required stringent discipline, mental and physical fortitude, constant learning and significant time away from home. The multi-layered certification involved advanced programming theories, applying intense physical training, recovery techniques and even psychological coaching to bring out the most of any trainee.
The whole experience was physically and mentally grueling, he says, but also highly rewarding. Over the four years, this included spending several months at Gym Jones interning directly under General Manager & Training Director, Robert MacDonald and his staff, assisting, observing and applying the knowledge from the seminars.
“I am honored to be part of this select group. I got into the fitness industry to fix the status quo – the deceiving marketing and dishonesty in the industry. With Gym Jones, I found the truth– with the basis that consistently applied hard work is the true secret to success in fitness,” said Tommy Baker.
