New York, NY (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Paul McCartney’s 2014 tour seems to be growing every few days with more dates being added in many of the biggest cities in the United States. With what started out as just four shows in the United States, McCartney has since added 13 more dates including five more shows in the Midwest. The tour, called “Out There,” will take the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer to some cities that he has been to before, while there are a few that will be stops for the first time in his legendary career. Currently, McCartney has 17 stops slated on his 2014 concert schedule.
McCartney is one of the most established musicians of all time and has had a successful career as part of The Beatles and Wings. He has also turned in quite a successful solo career and has totaled more than 100 million singles sold, 100 million records sold and 60 gold discs. His ability to write has been well-documented throughout his career. When he was with The Beatles, he and John Lennon made up one of the best songwriting duos in the history of music and for McCartney, 32 songs he has written or co-written have reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts.
During his career as a solo artist and as part of The Beatles and Wings, McCartney has been a part of countless No. 1 singles and popular songs that his fans will want to hear him perform live on this tour. Among those songs include “Silly Love Songs,” “Maybe I’m Amazed,” “Jet,” “Band on the Run,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Yellow Submarine,” “I Feel Fine,” “Help!,” “All You Need is Love,” “Hello, Goodbye,” and “Let it Be.”
The additional five dates include two stops that will mark the first show for McCartney’s long career. He will perform at the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota on July 12 and the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 14. The other cities that McCartney has visited before and will see again this summer include Chicago, Illinois at the United Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the Sprint Center and Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center. The American portion of the world tour will begin in Lubbock, Texas at the United Sprint Center on June 14th and is currently scheduled to run through August 14th with a stop at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, California.
