Veteran Certification

It is an honor and a privilege to be certified as a veteran owned small business.

Bonita Springs (PRWEB) April 30, 2014

Radiopaque Solutions, Inc. the world leader in the development of x-ray visible materials technology, has been awarded the certified veteran owned small business designation by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans First Program.

Radiopaque Solutions' CEO, Thomas Lachner explained the designation: "It is an honor and a privilege to be certified as a veteran owned small business. Verification is not a simple process. To date, approximately 58 percent of applications have been denied. It requires a lengthy application process with verification of all corporate documents. It includes unannounced on site visits by VA verification officers and an inspection of personal and company information."

As a part of the VA’s Veterans First Program, contract set-asides are available for Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Service Disabled Small Businesses; however, an applicant must be verified to qualify. Verification is the process by which a Veteran is evaluated and determined eligible to be listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database. The Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) is the office within VA that manages the verification process and verifies VOSB/SDVOSBs for inclusion in the VetBiz database

Radiopaque Solutions, Inc. is pleased to become part of the family of former service personnel who have established small businesses. Veterans occupy all key positions in the company and have priority in employment offerings. Radiopaque Solutions, Inc. is led by Army Veteran, Thomas Lachner.
