The Center for Internet Security (CIS) today announced that it has been selected as one of The Times Union Top Workplaces for the second consecutive year in the small employers category.

More than 600 small, medium and large companies in the Capital Region were invited to participate, with a total of 45 awards given.

CIS is nationally recognized for its leadership role in cyber security and critical infrastructure protection. CIS operates a 24/7/365 cyber security operations center and provides other resources to both the public and private sectors to assist them in cyber preparedness and response. The organization expanded more than 20 percent in 2013 and currently has 71 employees. CIS provides an extensive employee benefits program including tuition and certification reimbursements.
