'Dogs Department' create elegant, well designed and edgy dog accessories that are bang on trend. They make chic, quality products that possess a timeless elegance.
'Dogs Department' was created by Barbara Burgi who adopted in 2000, a 5 months old dachshund named Prada. Barbara discovered how difficult it was to find cool, classic, high quality accessories for dogs that were also functional. With her education in fashion and love for pets, she started 'Dogs Department' in 2006.
With her creative and strong sense of style, Barbara uses natural materials to create her luxurious and inspiring products. They include hand stitched leather collars with matching leads, pet passport holders and gorgeous pet carrier bags. The Spring/Summer 2014 collection includes the signature bone collars and leads with the addition of this season’s hot colour 'Aubergine'. The collection also includes the denim dog sleeping beds, handmade Italian wool blankets and a new range of natural dye, dog rope toys.
The stylish design led accessories reflect the ethos of the brand and the design concept 'Dogs Department' was founded on. 'Dogs Department' designs edgy accessories for dogs and their best friends.
Barbara believes the secret of 'Dogs Department' lies in the design, materials and how it is made. 'Dogs Department' only uses the highest quality materials and the products are hand made by experienced and skilful experts in the Netherlands.
The products are stylish with a contemporary modern twist. 'Dogs Department' have established themselves in Europe as both a quality and ethical company with their trade mark collar and lead collections as well as their contemporary bags. They have re-launched their website to coincide with their new 2014 collection.
Basil at Barkarama reviewed the ‘statement collars’ and stated "Pop on one of these bad boys and you are guaranteed to stand ears, snout and shoulders above the pack!"
'Dogs Department' have partnered with The Pet Business to distribute their products in the UK and Ireland
