After a three-round voting process, DeSano Pizza Bakery was crowned with the title of Eater Pizza Week 2014 'Best Pizza in Nashville.’

Eater Nashville is a division of Eater, a website that covers restaurants, bars and nightlife in major North American cities. More than 2,400 votes were cast in the final round, which narrowed down the competition from 18 Nashville pizzerias to the top five.

Known for its authentic Neapolitan pizza, DeSano Pizza Bakery was founded by Scott DeSano and has been a popular spot for locals and visitors alike since opening its doors in Nashville in 2012.

In order to make the best pizza in Nashville, DeSano’s has all-natural, fresh ingredients flown in weekly from Naples and Campania, Italy. The savory pizzas are baked in 10,000-pound, 900-degree ovens, which were imported from Italy and named after Italian saints.
