The Mission Continues Partners With Engaged Health Solutions for a "Year of Change"
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 -- Inspiring and supporting people through change is at the core of everything that Engaged Health Solutions (EHS) does.
When physicians Will Harper and Ari Levy founded EHS in 2009, they knew that giving back to the community would play a central role in the company’s growth. EHS’ latest social mission project, The Year of Change, is its largest to date.
Through The Year of Change program, EHS offers employees of a nonprofit the same personal coaching and education sessions that it provides to Fortune 100 companies, large manufacturing firms and universities—free of charge.
EHS selected the St. Louis-based organization The Mission Continues as its first Year Of Change partner because the non-profit’s values and EHS’ are clearly aligned.
“We are so inspired by the folks who work for The Mission Continues,” says CEO Ari Levy, MD. “As they work to support veterans, we want to work to support them. We know that, like many of us, they face stress and health issues. It’s a natural fit and we’re honored to partner with this great organization.”
The Mission Continues works every day to empower veterans to keep serving and succeeding by helping to develop and place them into community service projects across the country.
“We are thrilled to be selected as EHS’s first Year of Change partner.” says Spencer Kympton, President, The Mission Continues. “With their help and guidance, our team will grow stronger and be better equipped to continue empowering our nation’s veterans.”
In addition to personal coaching to help employees manage stress, nutrition, fitness and more, the project will also establish a wellness committee at The Mission Continues. These influencers will sustain the culture of health and well-being long after the Year of Change project is over.
Over the next 12 months, EHS will provide one-on-one health, well-being and performance coaching and onsite group education sessions to more than 20 Mission Continues employees.
To kick-off the Year of Change, a team of EHS expert coaches led the Mission Continues team in one of its core education sessions, The ABCs of Stress. More importantly, EHS and Mission Continues employees bonded over a shared commitment to service.
