EcoLogic Solutions Adds CEOs and “TEA-EO” to Board of Directors
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) May 01, 2014 -- EcoLogic Solutions, a B Corporation-certified manufacturer of environmentally preferable cleaning supplies and technologies for commercial industries, today announced it has added four successful business leaders to its board of directors. Included are the two top executives at Happy Family Brands, the longest tenured board member of Whole Foods Market, and the co-founder and TeaEO of Honest Tea.

The new board members include:
Seth Goldman, the co-founder and TeaEO of Honest Tea, the nation’s top selling organic bottled tea, now sold in more than 100,000 outlets nationwide. In March 2011, Honest Tea was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company, creating a national platform for expansion of Honest Tea's organic and Fair Trade certified products. Goldman is also the co-author of the New York Times bestseller “Mission in a Bottle,” which was published in September 2013.
Jessica Rolph, founding partner & COO of Happy Family Brands, a leading premium organic food brand delivering optimal nutrition for the entire family. Happy Family has been named as one of the fastest growing organic food companies in the nation by Inc. magazine for the last couple years, and was named “Rockstar of the New Economy” by Fast Company in 2012.
Ralph “Bud” Sorenson, the managing general partner of the Sorenson Limited Partnership, which specializes in venture capital investing in a diverse range of socially responsible and sustainable start-up companies. He is President Emeritus of Babson College and Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado, where he served as Dean of the Business School. Sorenson is also the longest tenured director of Whole Foods Market, Inc., where he has served for more than 20 years.
Shazi Visram, founder and CEO of Happy Family Brands. Since founding the company in 2006, Visram has guided Happy Family from a start-up operation to grossing more than $100MM in 2013, when it sold to Danone. She was named as one of Crain’s New York Business 40 Under 40 in 2012, and honored by Ernst & Young as “Entrepreneur of the Year” in the New York region.
The new members join Doering, EcoLogic COO Josh Knight, and entrepreneur Savneet Singh, co-founder of Gold Bullion International, on the board.
