OtherLevels, the San Francisco-based mobile marketing analytics leader today announced the appointment of Ramsey A. Masri as the new Chief Executive Officer. With more than 15 years in senior sales and channel roles in the carrier and enterprise business sectors, Masri joins OtherLevels from Openwave Mobility, a Marlin Equity funded video optimization and monetization company. Masri succeeds Brendan O’Kane, who moves to President and Chief Strategy Officer.
At Openwave Mobility, Masri led global sales and alliances working with more than 40 top tier carriers, and generated 30 percent license year on year growth. Previously, Masri was Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for MFormation Technologies where he developed the company’s brand and streamlined a sales organization that generated $50 million in revenue from a zero start. Prior to MFormation, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at OpSource. He also spent more than a decade at Oracle in senior sales roles within the company’s telecom business. Masri has participated in multiple venture raisings during the course of his tenure in emerging technologies.
