M&L Special Needs Planning, LLC is Proud to Announce the Release of Their Latest Special Needs Planning Informational Video
Washington, D.C (PRWEB) May 10, 2014 -- On May 1st, 2014 M&L Special Needs Planning released a special needs planning video on their Independent Living Program and Housing Project database, a housing website which contains valuable housing information and resources for families with special needs. The video, titled “Supplemental Security Income/Medicaid and Social Security Income Insurance/Medicare” is an online tutorial/guide to understanding and applying for these two important government benefits.
In SSI/Medicaid SSDI/Medicare, M&L founder and owner Maedi Tanham Carney, CFP®, CWIC provides a detailed discussion of exactly what these benefits are, how to apply for these benefits, and how to ensure that your loved ones with disabilities retain their eligibility for these benefits throughout their lives. As a part of this discussion, Carney provides specifics as to who is eligible, the monthly benefit amounts that recipients are entitled to, and the ways in which the employment activities of recipients can directly affect the benefit amounts. Carney, as the financial and life planning expert behind M&L Special Needs Planning, is very experienced with helping families apply for these benefits. In fact, M&L has a 100% success rate with applying for SSI/Medicaid and SSDI/Medicare in 2013. In this video, Carney translates this success into a number of extremely useful tips to help families ensure that they are handling the application correctly, and to increase their chances of being approved the first time around. Carney also delves into the medical coverage that accompanies SSI and SSDI, Medicaid and Medicare respectively. As mentioned, this video was released via M&L’s unique housing database, the Independent Living Program and Housing Project, and is therefore only accessible to individuals who currently subscribe to the database. This database contains more than 800 entries of independent living programs and housing options, service providers, and special needs organizations from across the United States. It also contains other very important housing information, i.e. journal articles, news articles, studies, and important financial information that is incredibly relevant to the special needs housing search. Carney describes the database as being a “one stop shop for all your special needs housing needs.”
This video is just one of the latest updates/new releases to be added to the Independent Living Program and Housing Project database. M&L has developed a series of informational videos covering other special needs planning topics that will be released periodically; examples of the topics to be covered include Insurance Needs Analysis, Transitioning, and the Special Needs Trust, among others. In addition to this, the database is monitored daily, and updated frequently and consistently to reflect new and changing housing programs, and to ensure that the special needs housing information is relevant and current. Subscribers to the database will be notified when a new video is added, or if any information is added to the database, or altered or changed in any way.
