At the 2014 Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) convention in Las Vegas, byejoe made a powerful impression by leaving with top tasting awards for both red and dragon fire, as landing a finalist position in the mixology competition. The WSWA Convention is the premier event in which distributors seek out new and exciting beverage products. This is the perfect venue to taste the industry on not only the smooth, and ultra-premium red flavor, which took home a SILVER in the tasting awards category, but also to showcase byejoe dragon fire, the first ever flavored baijiu to hit the U.S. market. dragon fire won DOUBLE GOLD, the highest medal awarded in the Spirit Tasting Competition.
Both byejoe red and byejoe dragon fire earned shimmering GOLD at the Denver International Spirits Competition. The three-year-old competition is one of only a handful of double-blind international spirits competitions in the world.
Thirty-nine spirits experts convened at the Hotel Nikko in San for the 14th Annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). This year the number of submissions totaled 1,474 from 41 states and 64 countries, and covered 89 classifications. Even with the increased competition in the Baijiu spirit category, byejoe red took home SILVER and byejoe dragon fire earned BRONZE. Often a harbinger of trends in the marketplace, the SFWSC competition is considered to be the rite of passage for top-quality spirits.
