Non-invasive Skin Screenings in Dolores Park for Melanoma Monday

While 1 in 5 Americans will be diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetimes, early detection greatly increases survival rates. Monday, May 5, is Melanoma Monday, which marks the beginning of month-long international efforts to raise awareness about skin cancer detection and prevention. First Derm, partnered with iDoc24, Sunscreen Bands™ and Blue Lizard™, is promoting skin cancer detection and prevention with complimentary skin screenings, UV detection bands, and sunscreen giveaways in Mission Dolores Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4, from 10:00am-5:00pm. By combining awareness campaigns with the latest technological advances, these companies hope to unveil a new weapon against skin cancers with earlier, more convenient detection, and easy-to-use prevention measures.
