Illinois Virtual School (IVS) is currently accepting student registrations for Summer School and has opened registration for Fall 2014.
Planning an online solution for students can be challenging. IVS has been successfully working with Illinois schools and students since 2001 and averages a 90% course completion rate. We now have two online course solution strands to meet the needs of students.
1. Full-Service online courses taught by Illinois certified, highly qualified teachers. A diverse catalog of over 140 semester courses is available including core, electives, and AP. Each course is $250/semester enrollment.
New for FY15: reduced enrollment cost to $190/enrollment for a commitment of 20+ course enrollments per year. To learn more about Full-Service options including a list of Fall 2014 courses, click the Full-Service Options link below.
2. Credit Recovery online courses utilizing prescriptive pretests for each unit of instruction to generate an individual learning plan to mastery. Each credit recovery course is $70/semester enrollment. To learn more about Credit Recovery options including a list of Fall 2014 courses, click the Credit Recovery options link below.
We can help your students chart a path to education and career success. Below are additional resources that will be helpful in getting started on the right course with IVS.
About Illinois Virtual School
IVS is the Illinois State Board of Education’s statewide virtual school. ISBE established IVS as a supplemental online program based out of the Peoria Regional Office of Education. The IVS program is designed to allow students who are enrolled in a public or private school or homeschooled, to supplement their education by taking courses that are both aligned to the Illinois Remote Education Act and engaging for students. IVS is recognized by the NCAA, International Association for K12 Online Learning (iNACOL), the State Virtual Leadership Alliance, and the College Board.
