Leading Legal Search Firm Major, Lindsey & Africa Launches 2014 Partner Compensation Survey
Hanover, Md. (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 -- Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the launch of the 2014 MLA Partner Compensation Survey, the third study of partner compensation conducted by the firm. The Survey, which is being sent to more than 40,000 law firm partners across the United States, is a follow up to the ground-breaking 2010 and 2012 surveys, which represent the most comprehensive efforts ever undertaken to identify ranges of partner compensation and the criteria law firms use to determine partner compensation.
The Survey, which is completely anonymous and confidential, was developed by Jeffrey A. Lowe, Global Practice Leader of MLA’s Law Firm Practice and Managing Partner of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. ALM Legal Intelligence, an independent research company, is conducting the survey on behalf of MLA.
“We are excited to be launching the 2014 Survey,” says Lowe. "Prior to the release of our original 2010 Survey, partner level compensation and other practice metrics, such as billable hours and originations, had never been captured on this scale before. The response to our prior surveys by partners across the nation has been tremendous, and we look forward to sharing the results of the 2014 Survey with the entire legal community."
