Wig-A-Do Announces A New Location in Mount Laurel, NJ
Mount Laurel, NJ (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Wig-A-Do, a retail store specializing in wigs and wig supplies, has relocated from its Moorestown Mall location in Moorestown, NJ to the Bank of America Plaza in Mount Laurel. The move centralizes the store relative to its sister shops: Wig Elegance, in Levittown, PA; Visions Salon, located within the Caner Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia; and the newly-acquired Rosalind Stella's Wig Boutique in Northeast Philadelphia.
All four stores are owned and operated by Rob and Jamie Levin. At Wig-A-Do, the couple offers a wide selection of natural and synthetic wigs, including monofilament, lace-front, and stretch cap styles, plus hair pieces, extensions, toupees, and wig care products. Since according to Jamie Levin, nearly 80% of their clientele suffer from a serious disease, such as cancer, the shop also seeks to provide comfort and encouragement through the wig selection process by offering private consultations, semi-custom alterations, and wig care training.
Wig-A-Do is a wholly-licensed retail and wholesale distributor of the Red Thread clothing line, created by physician and breast cancer survivor Dr. Debra Kimless-Garber for women who are suffering or have suffered from breast cancer. The Levins believe that this line of apparel offers yet another way for them to serve their many clients suffering from hair loss to due cancer.
The store also serves those who enjoy the convenience of having a wig or hair pieces in addition to their own hair, an increasingly popular option for young celebrities and cross-dressers, as well for individuals within the general public who like having a hassle-free hairstyle for vacations or special events.
The store's new location seeks to better serve these and future clients with improved street visibility and prominent signage. Anchored by Bank of America and surrounded by densely-populated commercial and residential neighborhoods, the shop offers the Philadelphia suburbs a local option to big city shopping.
Rob and Jamie Levin are hopeful that their new location will allow them to not only better serve the community of Mount Laurel, but all of New Jersey's Philadelphia suburbs.
