Contract to Sponsor 9 City level® Tour
Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) May 01, 2014 -- Contract magazine and the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (BIFMA) are teaming up to present The 2014 level Roadshow: a program aimed at educating design professionals about BIFMA’s multi-attribute, sustainability standard and third-party certification program for the furniture industry known as “level.”
“BIFMA and the office furniture industry have been at the forefront of sustainability and transparency in product manufacturing, and the level program, in particular, is a powerful tool for interior design professionals who want to specify sustainable products,” said Contract Editor in Chief John Czarnecki, Assoc. AIA, Hon. IIDA. “Contract is eager to help build awareness around level because we believe it’s an important program that helps the design industry as a whole move sustainability goals forward.”
BIFMA has once again engaged green building expert Paul Shahriari of Greenmind Inc. to deliver the presentations. Paul will both educate attendees about the standard as well as provide a one hour CEU as part of each session.
“We’re delighted to have Paul presenting level again,” said Tom Reardon, Executive Director of BIFMA. “Paul was the presenter four years ago when we launched level and he was very well received at every one of our sessions.”
