Nfinity Champions League Cheerleading Event a Success, Raises Over $40,000 for Charity
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Cheerleading teams across the country gathered this month to compete in the Nfinity Champions League Cheerleading Event, and for the first time ever, were featured in more than 650 cinemas across the U.S. on April 10th. The event was a huge success and a game changer for the sport of cheerleading. The Nfinity Champions League Event will return next year at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas Nevada, March 27-29, 2015.
The winners of the 2014 Champions League Cheerleading event elected to donate their winnings to charity and each participating team also auctioned off backpacks signed by each team member, raising over $40,000 for charity. The winners of the Champions League Cheerleading event were:
All Girl Winner: World Cup Allstars Shooting Stars
Co-Ed Winner: California Allstars SMOED
Grand Champion: Top Gun Allstars Large Coed
“When we set out to create this event, we knew it would go far in recognizing the hard work these teams put into competing and also the athleticism behind cheerleading, but we never imagined it would have this much of an impact on charity organizations as well,” said Tate Chalk, founder and CEO of Nfinity. “We are thrilled that the event and the cinema event were such a success and are looking forward to doing it again next year.”
