Morf Media Inc. Appoints Seasoned Technology Entrepreneur as New CEO
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) May 07, 2014 -- Morf Media, is an innovative start-up now at expansion stage working on a simulation-based immersive mobile platform for corporate training, today announced the appointment of Eduardo Cervantes as CEO. He will oversee the launch of Morf Media’s platform, which is to debut in the U.S. later this year.
Eduardo is a corporate veteran with more than 18 years experience at C-level positions with mobile and software companies, who is enthusiastic about his move to Morf Media.
Morf Media’s co-founder Axel von Schubert said the appointment marks a key step in Morf Media’s growth: “The successful launch of our corporate training mobile platform is imminent and we firmly believe that, with the help of Mr. Cervantes, our technology will drastically improve the way employees learn and absorb information”.
Previously, Eduardo was CEO of UK based Connect2Media Holdings where he restructured the organization to reach positive EBITDA growth. In 2010, he was CEO and co-founder of CloutIT, a Cloud based SaaS distribution platform based in Spain. Between 2008-2010 Eduardo was Chief Marketing and Product Officer at Panda Security, the fourth largest antivirus company in the world. In 2006, he became Chief Marketing, Product and Strategy Officer at NTR Global, a provider of Cloud based remote support solutions where he grew sales by 100% and raised over $30Million in venture funds. Between 2003-2006, as Vice President of Amphire Solutions, he led 3 acquisitions until it was bought-out by Accel KKR.
Eduardo was a founding team member and VP of Marketing and Product Management at OnSale.com and Eduardo Cervantes began his career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in 1988 after completing an MBA at University of Texas at Austin.
