Xankia, pronounced “sun-kia,” is a family owned Milwaukee Vietnamese restaurant serving eight varieties of the famous Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich and a delicious assortment of entrees, appetizers, and desserts. Since 2010, this unique sandwich has consistently delighted the taste buds of patrons with fresh food. There is only one aspect that owner, Xa Xiong, felt needed to change, the restaurant’s name. Xankia has changed its name from Banh Mi Nhu Y for easier pronunciation and to unveil its improved menu.

To celebrate the Vietnamese restaurant’s grand re-opening, Xankia gave out a free can of soda or eggroll with a purchase of a sandwich on Thursday, May 1st. Ongoing discounts for students and senior citizens and customer loyalty promotions also go into effect immediately.

All of the Banh Mi's are made fresh during order and are tastier than before. Baguettes are baked fresh daily and customers have the option of soft or crispy bread. Xankia is also introducing new menu items such as crunchy lotus cookies, Hmong Eggroll, Papaya salad, Qhaub Piaj (Chicken Noodle Soup), fourteen flavors of boba tea smoothies, and more.
