Graduateprograms.com Announces First Ever Pre-Grad $1,000 Scholarship Winner
Englewood, NJ (PRWEB) May 01, 2014 -- Paying for grad school just got a little easier for one soon-to-be graduate student.
Graduate Programs is pleased to announce that Matthew Spears, an Indiana University-Bloomington grad, has won the spring semester Pre-Grad Graduate Programs Foundation $1,000 scholarship. Mr. Spears has applied to the University of Minnesota’s Liberal Studies program for graduate school.
Pre-grad students are eligible for the $1,000 pre-grad scholarship if they are a current student at—or recent graduate from—an accredited university with a desire to attend graduate school. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded once per quarter and may be used toward tuition, a grad school search and other education-related expenses.
Spears said, “It’s impossible to do Graduate Programs justice in a brief statement, considering the gift they have given me. At a surface level, this scholarship has provided me much needed financial assistance that everyone understands. More than that, though, this scholarship reaffirms my belief that there are real organizations in the world, merely looking to assist individuals who place an emphasis on pursuing education, with no strings attached.”
