Montana’s Missouri River Country is known for its wide open spaces and unspoiled nature. It is also home to a wealth of world class prehistoric discoveries and several current dinosaur dig sites. One lucky winner and three guests will get the chance to be a part of these discoveries uncovering fossils 65 million years in the making. The Dig for Dinos giveaway is April 16 until May 8 2014. One winner will be chosen on May 9 to win a Dinosaur Dig for four in Montana’s Missouri River Country. The winner will also receive a gas card, two nights lodging, meals and admission to the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum and the Phillips County Museum.
Montana’s Missouri River Country is home to several stops along the Montana Dino Trail and boasts famous discoveries including “Peck’s Rex” and a Guinness World Record for most preserved dinosaur. Paleontologist Dave Trexler will lead the dig, assisted by staff from the Great Plains Museum. The winner and three guests will experience firsthand how to safely excavate, collect and transport fossils. The digs are a must experience for all including families and dinosaur enthusiasts.
