Ticket Down is a reliable source for affordable Beyonce & Jay-Z tickets in Philadelphia. The biggest tour announcement of the year was made several weeks ago when the King and Queen of R&B, Jay Z and Beyonce, said they would travel around North America for the “On the Run” tour. The tour will feature 16 dates spread across the continent beginning with a show on June 25 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida; and the tour is set to conclude on Aug. 5 at AT&T Park in San Francisco, California. The tour will also take the popular musicians to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia; Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington; and Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The latter will be their stop on July 5 and for a city that is known for booing Santa Claus, there won’t be much jeering going around.
Beyonce is one of the biggest and best-selling female artists of all time. She got her big break in the group Destiny’s Child and has seen her career reach amazing heights since becoming a solo artist. Ever since releasing her debut solo single for the Austin Powers in Goldmember soundtrack, Beyonce has found a way to release popular song after popular song. Her first No. 1 single as a solo artist came with her third solo single, “Crazy in Love,” a song she collaborated on with Jay Z.
In terms of her solo album releases, Beyonce now has five releases, all of which have sold at least three million copies around the world. Her most popular album as a solo artist is her debut release, Dangerously in Love, which has sold more than 11 million units around the world including more than four million copies in the United States. All five of her albums have reached the top of the Billboard album charts and she has now sold more than 15 million records in the United States. Her most recent release, Beyonce, became the fastest selling album on iTunes in the United States and around the world.
Her husband is known as one of the top five rappers of all time. Since releasing his first single, “In My Lifetime,” in 1995, Jay Z has since released 114 singles. Early in his career, he got a chance to perform with many of the greats in hip hop and R&B including Foxy Brown, Mary J. Blige, Memphis Bleek, Babyface and DMX. Since coming into the music business, he holds the record for the most No.1 albums on the Billboard album charts, passing a record previously set by Elvis Presley.
