Inaugural RedLine EPIC Gala to Honor Founder, Laura Merage
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- The First Annual RedLine EPIC Gala will take place on May 22 at 6:30 p.m., and will honor founder, Laura Merage. Her legacy and commitment to art and culture will continue for years to come through the creation of the Laura Merage Transforming Communities Award. The inaugural award will be presented to Vicki & Harry Sterling, who have been instrumental in RedLine's growth and success.
Laura Merage is an artist and philanthropist who founded RedLine through the David & Laura Merage Foundation. She has experienced first-hand the challenges faced by emerging and mid-career artists as they develop their portfolios and build their careers. Her dream is to assist emerging artists as they take their professions to the next level and foster the creative process within the broader community.
“Experiencing RedLine’s growth and the transformation of the neighboring community has been truly rewarding in itself,” said Laura Merage. “It has been an honor to work alongside some of the most talented and emerging artists of today, while making art more accessible to the Denver community. I look forward to continuing to see RedLine flourish, and am so grateful for this honor at the inaugural EPIC gala.”
The event will include an exclusive art sale, cocktails, and a seated dinner with artist curated tables. Attendees can purchase a table or an individual ticket. Funds raised from the EPIC Gala will support RedLine’s Artist Residency and the many education and outreach programs that they provide for the community year-round.
